MoviezWap: Telugu and Tamil movies by year, Kannada, Malayalam, Hollywood and Hindi, from Kalki 2898-AD to Coolie
MoviezWap became one of the best-known movie names in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Tamil Nadu with a very simple idea: list Telugu and Tamil films year by year, on a light page that loads in a moment on any phone. Its last archived design, measured from the site's own style sheet, was a plain white page with a beige logo bar, a search box with a category menu, bright blue section bars and bold blue rows that turn pale yellow with a small arrow when you touch them. The rebuilt MoviezWap keeps all of that, and every title now opens on the official services that carry it through one Watch now button.
This guide explains how MoviezWap works and what waits on each shelf. The first part tours the page. The second part walks the Telugu shelves from 2012 to today, then the Tamil shelves, the Kannada and Malayalam hits, the Hollywood favourites offered in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi, and the new Hindi films. The third part is practical: services, dubbed audio, free and legal viewing, phones and data, the official address and staying safe. The short version is the page on how to watch on MoviezWap.
The logo bar
The page opens with a beige bar with a soft gradient and thin rules above and below, the same bar the original used for its logo. In the middle sits the logo: a blue circle with a white play symbol, then Moviez in steel blue and Wap in red, with a small line of grey capitals underneath naming the languages. Below the bar, a row of bold blue links leads to Home, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam, Hollywood, Hindi, A-Z and My List; each turns pale yellow as you touch it. On phones, the row folds into a single blue Menu button in the logo bar.
The bookmark line and search
Under the menu, a bold line asks you to bookmark MoviezWap, with the site name in red, just as the original did. Below it sits the search box, a plain white field with a blue button, followed by the page title in steel blue and a short introduction on a pale blue band, the colours the original used for its description line.
Latest Updates
The first blue bar reads Latest Updates, as it always did. Under it, a centred line offers quick links to Telugu (2024-2026) Movies, Tamil (2024-2026) Movies and Hollywood Movies, with the middle one in red. Then come twenty-six rows of the newest titles, each starting with a double arrow, the title and year, the language, the category in steel blue square brackets and the runtime in grey, for example: » Kalki 2898-AD (2024) Telugu - [Telugu (2024-2026) Movies] [181 minutes].
Each row is bold, separated from the next by a thin grey rule, and turns pale yellow with a small blue arrow on the right when you touch it. The whole row is one big link, which makes it easy to use with a thumb.
Most Popular
The next blue bar, Most Popular, shows twelve posters in small blue-edged frames, six across on a computer and three on a phone. It is the only place on the home page with pictures, a quick visual guide to the most watched titles on MoviezWap.
Categories and Other Menu
The Categories bar lists every shelf as a row with a small blue arrow and the number of titles in brackets: Telugu Movies, Telugu (2024-2026), Telugu (2020-2023) and Telugu (2012-2019) Movies, Tamil Movies, Tamil (2024-2026) and Tamil (2017-2023) Movies, Kannada and Malayalam Movies, Hollywood Movies, Hindi New Movies and the genre shelves, followed by A-Z. The Other Menu bar lists the help guides in the same style, and this article follows. The page closes with a steel-blue footer and a navy copyright bar, the colours of the original.
The title page
A title page on MoviezWap shows the poster, a backdrop, the story, the year, the runtime, the score, the genres, the cast and the director. The Watch now button opens the viewing panel, and Add to My List keeps the title on the My List page.
The Watch now button
Press Watch now and a panel opens with a list of countries. Choose yours and the title opens on JustWatch, which lists every subscription, rental, purchase and free service carrying it in that country, with a direct link to each. The film plays in the service's own app or website, and MoviezWap remembers your country for next time.
Choosing your country
India comes first in the country list, followed by the United States, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Sri Lanka, New Zealand and Germany, the places where Telugu and Tamil families live and watch films. Catalogues differ between countries, and the list shows exactly which services carry each film where you are.
Telugu movies, year by year
Telugu films are the heart of MoviezWap, and the original site arranged them by year. The rebuilt site keeps that idea with three shelves: Telugu (2024-2026) Movies, Telugu (2020-2023) Movies and Telugu (2012-2019) Movies, gathered together on the Telugu Movies shelf. The Telugu guide gives a short tour.

In Telugu cinema, Prabhas leads Kalki 2898-AD, Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire and Radhe Shyam; Allu Arjun leads the Pushpa films and Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo; N. T. Rama Rao Jr. and Ram Charan share RRR; Mahesh Babu leads Guntur Kaaram, Sarileru Neekevvaru and Srimanthudu; and Nani leads Hi Nanna, Jersey and Saripodhaa Sanivaaram.

Hollywood on MoviezWap
The original MoviezWap had categories for Telugu Dubbed and Tamil Dubbed Hollywood films, and the Hollywood Movies shelf continues that tradition with eighteen favourites, most offered in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi on services in India. The Hollywood guide gives a short tour.
Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame close the great Infinity Saga, Captain America: Civil War splits the heroes into two teams, and Black Panther, Doctor Strange, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Spider-Man: No Way Home, Thor: Ragnarok and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 fill in the Marvel story. From DC, Wonder Woman, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad bring the heroes and villains, and Joker tells the origin of Batman's greatest enemy.
Logan sends Wolverine on one last road trip, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them returns to the wizarding world, and Arrival is a thoughtful story of a linguist trying to talk with visitors from space. It is a frightening tale of children facing a shape-shifting clown, and Coco is Pixar's joyful journey into the Land of the Dead.
Hindi New Movies
The Hindi New Movies shelf holds nineteen Hindi films from 2023 onward, and the Hindi guide gives a short tour. Jawan, Pathaan and Dunki made 2023 Shah Rukh Khan's year, Dhurandhar and Dhurandhar: The Revenge are sweeping spy dramas, and Fighter takes to the skies with the Indian Air Force. Stree 2 is one of the most successful horror comedies ever, Shaitaan a gripping supernatural thriller and Sector 36 a dark crime drama.
12th Fail and Lost Ladies are warm, moving stories, Saiyaara is a musical love story, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani is a colourful family romance, and Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar a breezy romantic comedy. KILL is a ferocious action film on a night train, Jaane Jaan a clever mystery, Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga a heist aboard a plane, Jewel Thief - The Heist Begins a stylish caper and Adipurush a retelling of the Ramayana. Many of these films are also offered in Telugu and Tamil.
Services in India
Telugu films stream on Aha, the Telugu service, as well as Prime Video, Netflix, JioHotstar and ZEE5. Tamil films stream on Sun NXT, Prime Video, Netflix, JioHotstar and ZEE5, and Kannada and Malayalam films are carried by Prime Video, Netflix, JioHotstar and Manorama Max. Hollywood films in Telugu and Tamil are mostly on JioHotstar, Prime Video and Netflix. The streaming services guide lists them all.
Watching from abroad
Telugu and Tamil families live all over the world, from the Gulf to North America, Singapore, Malaysia and Sri Lanka. Netflix and Prime Video carry many South Indian films worldwide, Aha and Sun NXT offer international plans, and new releases often reach overseas cinemas the same day as in India. Choose your country in the Watch now panel to see exactly what is available where you live.
Dubbed audio and subtitles
The original MoviezWap listed Telugu Dubbed and Tamil Dubbed Hollywood films, and the official services make dubbing easy today. Most Hollywood films on services in India offer Telugu, Tamil and Hindi tracks alongside English, and many Telugu and Tamil films offer each other's language as well as Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam. Open the audio menu in the player to choose, and turn on English subtitles if you like.
Phones and mobile data
MoviezWap was built for phones, with light pages that load quickly on any connection, and the rebuilt site keeps that promise. On official services, most apps offer a data-saver setting and let you download films over Wi-Fi to watch later at no extra data cost. On a limited mobile plan, choose the data saver for phone viewing and save the best quality for home Wi-Fi.
Free and legal viewing
Plenty of Telugu and Tamil films are free and legal to watch. Many studios post full films, especially older hits, on their official YouTube channels, and JioHotstar, ZEE5 and MX Player carry many free titles with adverts. The free movies guide has the details.
Renting and buying
Some new releases arrive first as rentals on Prime Video and other stores, then join a subscription a few weeks later. The Watch now panel shows prices next to the subscription choices, so you can choose the easiest way to watch.
Televisions and computers
MoviezWap works in any modern browser, on a phone, a tablet or a computer. To watch on the television, find the title on MoviezWap, then open it in the service's app on your smart TV or streaming stick, or cast it from your phone. The devices guide explains each option.
My List
My List is the last link in the blue menu row. The Add to My List button on each title page sends the film to the My List page, where the posters wait in a neat grid. The list lives in the browser on your phone, so it works from the first film you save, and it can be exported as one small file for another device.
More ways to find titles
The search box reads titles, original titles and cast names, so typing Prabhas, Vijay or Nani finds their films. The Categories bar opens every shelf, the A-Z page lists every title alphabetically, and the genre shelves for Action, Comedy, Drama and Thriller mix languages. The finding titles guide sums it up.
The official MoviezWap
MoviezWap has one fixed address, shown in your browser's address bar. Bookmark it or add it to your home screen, and it opens with your country and My List in place. The official site guide describes the real MoviezWap: a clean white page, a beige logo bar, blue section bars and bold blue rows that turn pale yellow. The site status page explains a few quick checks if a page is slow.
Staying safe
Safe streaming is simple. Use official apps and websites, keep your phone and browser updated, use a strong password and two-step sign-in on your streaming accounts, and close any pop-up that asks you to install something. MoviezWap has one button per title and sends you only to JustWatch and official services. The safety checklist has a few more tips.
How titles are chosen
MoviezWap's catalogue follows the categories of the original site: Telugu and Tamil films by year, Kannada films, Hollywood films in South Indian languages and Hindi films, with Malayalam hits added. Every title is chosen by hand from TMDB's lists of popular and highly rated films, and each one is checked to suit a general audience.
Where the information comes from
Titles, posters, stories, cast, runtimes and scores come from TMDB, The Movie Database, through its official interface. The Watch now panel links to JustWatch, which tracks the services in each country. This guide and the help pages are written for MoviezWap, an independent site with its own writing, and the look is rebuilt from the archived style sheet of the original. The About page says more.
Kalki 2898-AD
Kalki 2898-AD is one of the most ambitious Indian films ever made. Set in a future where the last city on Earth, Kasi, lives under the shadow of a tyrant's floating fortress, it follows a mercenary, a mysterious pregnant woman and the immortal warrior Ashwatthama from the Mahabharata. It mixes mythology, science fiction and action on a grand scale, with Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Kamal Haasan, and it is best watched on the biggest screen in the house.
The Pushpa films
Pushpa: The Rise introduced Pushpa Raj, a labourer in the red sandalwood forests of the Seshachalam hills who rises to the top of a smuggling syndicate. Allu Arjun's swagger, his famous gestures and Devi Sri Prasad's songs spread across the whole of India, far beyond Telugu audiences. Pushpa 2 - The Rule continues his story, and it became one of the highest-earning Indian films ever. Watch them back to back for a full weekend of mass entertainment.
Hanu-Man
Hanu-Man was the surprise of its year. In the village of Anjanadri, a small-time thief finds a gem carrying the power of Lord Hanuman and becomes a superhero, defending his village against a villain who wants the power for himself. Made on a modest budget, its effects and heart won over audiences across India, and it opened a whole new universe of Telugu superhero films, continued in spirit by Mirai.
Bāhubali
The Bāhubali films changed Indian cinema. Bāhubali: The Beginning follows Shivudu, a young man raised beneath a great waterfall, who climbs to the kingdom of Mahishmati and discovers his royal past, and it ends with a famous cliffhanger that kept the country talking for two years. Bāhubali 2: The Conclusion tells the story of his father Amarendra, the rivalry with Bhallaladeva and the loyal warrior Kattappa. Bāhubali: The Epic brings both films together in one grand version.
Eega
Eega is one of the most imaginative films in any language. After a young man is murdered by a jealous rival, he is reborn as a housefly and sets out to protect the woman he loves and take revenge on his killer. S. S. Rajamouli makes the tiny hero thrilling and funny, and children love it as much as adults do.
Tourist Family
Tourist Family is a warm Tamil comedy that grew by word of mouth into a big hit. A Sri Lankan family arrives in Chennai looking for a fresh start, hiding their story from their new neighbours, and their kindness slowly brings the whole street together. It is funny, gentle and full of heart, the kind of film families watch together and then recommend to everyone they know.
Meiyazhagan
Meiyazhagan is a quiet, tender film. Arulmozhi returns to Thanjavur, the town he left as a young man, for a cousin's wedding, and spends a long night with a cheerful, talkative relative who remembers everything about him, while his own name for this cheerful cousin stays out of reach. Over one night, memories, regrets and kindness come back to life. It is a beautiful film about home and belonging.
96
96 is one of the most loved Tamil love stories of recent years. Ram, a travel photographer, and Janu, his school sweetheart, meet again at a class reunion twenty-two years after they were separated, and spend one long night walking through Chennai, remembering everything they once meant to say. It is tender, bittersweet and beautifully acted, and its songs became favourites across South India.
The Lokesh Kanagaraj universe
Director Lokesh Kanagaraj built a connected universe of Tamil gangster thrillers. Kaithi follows a newly released prisoner who drives a truck full of poisoned policemen to safety through one long night. Vikram brings back Kamal Haasan as a legendary agent and links the story to a war against drug lords, and Leo follows a café owner in the hills whose hidden past returns to find him. Watch them in order and look for the characters who move from one film to the next.
Mahanati
Mahanati tells the life of Savitri, one of the greatest actresses of Telugu and Tamil cinema, from her childhood to her stardom in the 1950s and 1960s and her difficult later years. Keerthy Suresh won the National Award for her performance, and the film's loving recreation of the golden age of South Indian studios makes it a treat for anyone who loves old films.
Sita Ramam
Sita Ramam is a sweeping Telugu romance told through letters. In the 1960s, a young army officer posted in Kashmir receives letters from a mysterious woman who signs herself Sita, and years later a student sets out to deliver a final letter. With its beautiful images and gentle music, it became one of the most loved love stories of its decade.
K.G.F
K.G.F: Chapter 1 follows Rocky, a boy from the streets of Mumbai who grows into a feared enforcer and is sent to the brutal Kolar Gold Fields, where he becomes the hope of the enslaved workers. K.G.F: Chapter 2 follows his rise to rule the fields and his clashes with powerful enemies. Their bold style and thundering music made Kannada cinema famous across India, and they are widely watched in Telugu and Tamil too.
Premalu
Premalu is a Malayalam film that Telugu audiences took to their hearts, helped by its setting in Hyderabad. Sachin, a young man from Kerala, moves to the city for a course and falls for Reenu, a confident software professional, while his cheerful friend Amal Davis steals every scene. Its Telugu dubbed version became a hit in its own right.
True stories of courage
Two films on MoviezWap honour real heroes of the Indian Army. Major tells the story of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, the young NSG commando who fell during the 2008 attacks on Mumbai, and Amaran tells the story of Major Mukund Varadarajan and his family. Both are moving tributes, and both are offered in several languages.
Festival releases
In the Telugu and Tamil states, the biggest films are timed for festivals. Sankranti and Pongal in January bring the year's largest releases, with families going to the cinema together between the festive meals; recent Sankranti releases on the shelves include Guntur Kaaram, Hanu-Man, Game Changer and Daaku Maharaaj. Ugadi and Tamil New Year in spring, Vinayaka Chavithi in late summer and Diwali in autumn bring more big releases, and the Latest Updates list follows them as they reach the services.
The music of South Indian cinema
Songs are at the heart of Telugu and Tamil films, and many become hits long before the film opens. M. M. Keeravani's Naatu Naatu from RRR won an Academy Award, Devi Sri Prasad's songs made the Pushpa films a sensation, and S. Thaman's music drives Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo and Guntur Kaaram. In Tamil cinema, Anirudh Ravichander has written the music for many of the biggest hits, including Jailer, Vikram, Leo and Coolie, and A. R. Rahman's score lifts Ponniyin Selvan: Part I. Turn up the sound and let the songs carry the evening.
A week with MoviezWap
Here is one way to enjoy a week of films. On Monday, watch a Telugu classic such as Manam. On Tuesday, try a Tamil thriller such as Ratsasan. On Wednesday, pick a Malayalam comedy such as Premalu. On Thursday, choose a Kannada favourite such as 777 Charlie. On Friday, watch the newest Telugu release from Latest Updates. On Saturday, invite friends for Kalki 2898-AD or Vikram, and on Sunday share a family film such as Tourist Family.
New to South Indian cinema?
Friends from other states and countries often ask where to start. A good first choice is RRR for spectacle and music, Eega for pure imagination, 96 for romance, Jersey for an emotional sports drama, or Tourist Family for warmth and laughter. English subtitles are available on the official services, and many films are offered in Hindi as well.
Family night
For a family evening, start with an adventure children love, such as Eega or Hanu-Man, move to a warm comedy such as Tourist Family or Ante... Sundaraniki!, and end with an emotional favourite such as Manam or 777 Charlie. Grandparents will enjoy Mahanati and its memories of the golden age of cinema. Most of these films are offered in several languages, so everyone can choose.
Thriller night
For a night of suspense, start with the Tamil serial-killer hunt Ratsasan, move to the Telugu police procedural HIT: The First Case, and end with the twisty revenge story Maharaja. Virupaksha adds village horror, and Vikram Vedha a clever battle of wits. Keep the lights low and your phone on silent.
Worth watching again
Some films reward a second viewing. Maharaja and Vikram Vedha are full of clues you only notice the second time, Eega is funnier once you know the story, and 96 and Sita Ramam feel even more moving when you know how they end. Bāhubali: The Beginning is a joy to watch again before the second part.
S. S. Rajamouli
S. S. Rajamouli is the director who took Telugu cinema to the world. His films on MoviezWap trace his remarkable career: Eega, the story of a man reborn as a housefly; the two Bāhubali films, which proved that an Indian epic could fill cinemas everywhere; and RRR, which won an Academy Award and was celebrated in cinemas from Tokyo to Los Angeles. His films combine mythology, emotion and spectacle, and each one is best seen on a big screen.
Nag Ashwin
Director Nag Ashwin has made two very different films on the Telugu shelf. Mahanati is a loving biography of the actress Savitri, and Kalki 2898-AD is a vast science-fiction epic rooted in the Mahabharata. Together they show the range of modern Telugu cinema, from careful period drama to blockbuster spectacle.
Vetrimaaran
Vetrimaaran is one of the most admired Tamil directors, known for gritty, powerful stories. Vada Chennai follows a young carrom player drawn into the gang wars of North Chennai, and Asuran follows a farmer who must protect his son after a violent feud, with Dhanush in a towering performance. Both films are intense and unforgettable.
Comedy night
For an evening of laughter, the shelves are full of choices. Ante... Sundaraniki! and Bheeshma are warm Telugu comedies, Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya a charming detective caper, and G-Zombie a playful zombie comedy. From Tamil cinema, Tourist Family and Dragon are big crowd-pleasers, and from Malayalam, Premalu and Aavesham are two of the funniest films of recent years.
Reading the scores
Each title page shows a score out of ten from the votes of TMDB's worldwide community of film fans. New releases and smaller films often have fewer votes, so their scores move more with each vote. The story, the cast and the genres on the title page help you decide the rest.
A last word
MoviezWap is made for people who love Telugu and Tamil cinema and follow it year by year: the festival blockbusters, the love stories, the thrillers and the family films, with Kannada, Malayalam, Hollywood and Hindi hits alongside. Pick a row, press Watch now, and enjoy the film in the best quality on the service that suits you.
Jailer
Jailer brought Rajinikanth back in grand style. Muthuvel Pandian is a retired jailer living quietly with his family, until his policeman son disappears while investigating an idol-smuggling gang, and the gentle grandfather reveals the steel beneath. With special appearances by stars from Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi cinema and Anirudh's thumping music, it became one of the biggest Tamil hits ever.
Jersey
Jersey is one of the most moving sports films in Indian cinema. Arjun, a gifted cricketer who gave up the game years ago, is now unemployed and struggling, and when his young son asks for a cricket jersey as a birthday present, he decides to return to the pitch at the age of thirty-six. Nani's performance is heartbreaking and inspiring, and the film's final act leaves few dry eyes.
Hi Nanna
Hi Nanna is a gentle Telugu drama about a single father, a photographer in Mumbai, and his young daughter, who longs to hear the story of her mother. When a kind stranger enters their lives, the past slowly comes to light. With Nani and Mrunal Thakur and a lovely soundtrack, it is a warm film about love, memory and family.
Manjummel Boys
Manjummel Boys is a Malayalam film that filled cinemas in Tamil Nadu too, thanks to its setting in Kodaikanal and its use of a classic Tamil song. A group of friends from a small town near Kochi take a holiday trip, and one of them falls into a deep crevice in the Guna Caves. The rescue that follows, driven by friendship and courage, is based on a true story and is gripping from start to finish.
Hollywood in Telugu and Tamil
The original MoviezWap had separate categories for Hollywood films dubbed in Telugu and Tamil, because many families prefer to watch in their own language. Today the big Hollywood releases on services in India usually carry Telugu, Tamil and Hindi tracks alongside English, so Avengers: Endgame, Black Panther or Coco can be enjoyed by grandparents and grandchildren together. Choose the language in the player's audio menu before you press play.
Manam
Manam is a special film in Telugu cinema. It brought three generations of the Akkineni family together on screen, the great Akkineni Nageswara Rao, his son Nagarjuna and grandson Naga Chaitanya, in a playful story of reincarnation and love across generations. It was the last film of Akkineni Nageswara Rao, and it has become a beloved tribute to him, warm, funny and full of charm.
Virupaksha
Virupaksha is one of the best Telugu horror films of recent years. In the 1990s, a young man visits the village of Rudravanam with his mother, and a series of mysterious deaths begins. As the villagers blame dark magic, he sets out to find the truth, and the answer is more chilling than anyone expects. It is gripping, atmospheric and perfect for a night with the lights low.
Mass entertainers
Telugu and Tamil audiences love a mass entertainer: a larger-than-life hero, punch dialogues, big songs and whistles in the cinema hall. Pushpa 2 - The Rule, Daaku Maharaaj, Guntur Kaaram and Race Gurram are Telugu examples, and Jailer, Master, Mersal and Coolie are Tamil ones. Watch them with friends, the louder the better, and you will understand why their opening days are celebrated like festivals.
Rangasthalam
Rangasthalam is a powerful village drama set in the 1980s. Chitti Babu, a cheerful young man with a hearing difficulty who pumps water for the village fields, stands up to the corrupt president who has ruled Rangasthalam for decades. Ram Charan's performance was widely praised, and Devi Sri Prasad's folk-flavoured songs became hits across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. It is a vivid, colourful film about courage and justice.
Soorarai Pottru
Soorarai Pottru is inspired by the life of the founder of a low-cost Indian airline. Maara, a former air force officer from a small village, dreams of an airline that ordinary people can afford, and fights the powerful businessmen who stand in his way. Suriya's performance won the National Award, and the film is an uplifting story about dreams and determination.
Kannada favourites
Kannada cinema has found audiences across South India in recent years. Beyond the K.G.F films and Kantara, 777 Charlie is a moving story of a lonely man and a Labrador who changes his life, loved by dog owners everywhere. Kantara - A Legend: Chapter 1 goes back centuries to tell the legend behind Kantara, with even grander spectacle and the same devotion to local tradition.
Geetha Govindam
Geetha Govindam is one of the sweetest Telugu romantic comedies. Vijay, a young lecturer, makes an embarrassing mistake on a bus that sets Geetha, the woman he admires, firmly against him, and then discovers that her brother is about to marry his sister. The comedy of a hero trying to win back someone's trust while sharing a family wedding is light, funny and full of catchy songs, and Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna make a charming pair. It is a perfect choice for a relaxed evening.
Mahesh Babu
Mahesh Babu is one of Telugu cinema's most loved stars, and the shelf holds several of his films: Businessman, 1: Nenokkadine, Srimanthudu, Bharat Ane Nenu, Sarileru Neekevvaru and Guntur Kaaram. They range from stylish thrillers to social dramas and family entertainers, and together they show why his fans are so devoted.
Ratsasan
Ratsasan is one of the most gripping Tamil thrillers of its decade. Arun, an aspiring filmmaker who has spent years researching serial killers for a script, joins the police and finds himself hunting a real killer who targets schoolgirls. Tense, clever and full of surprises, it has been remade in Telugu and Hindi, and it remains a favourite for thriller nights.
